Closest thing to a light saber I’ll ever own.
Posted by Travis on February 2, 2008Found this story on Gizmodo (the picture will take you there). Checked it all over the web, so it seems for real. Some guy made a 38 million candle power light that shines 4 miles. Oh yeah, and it burns skin.
As I write this I can’t think of anything I NEED that light for. But still, I need that. Who here can think of the best potential use?

uh…why wouldnt u want a light like that…give me one good reason i shouldnt have that thing. i got my reasons..i could blind someone, look at stuff far far away, make neighbors mad, look at fish in the bottom of the ocean, i could go on for days.
That is AMAZING! You could use it for a fire starter I bet! but a little gas on some wood then shine that light on it BAM you have fire!
sounds like joe’s TV at the end of the causeway when he first flipped the power switch on!
