[...] This video makes me think that technology is helping and hurting our worship, both at the same time - strange! This is very cool, but it’s also very produced. Maybe in a good way. I found this here. [...]

I love this kind of stuff but this almost seemed so big that the spectacle overshadowed the focus on God. I usually hate when other people post comments like this! Look at Tomlin's facial expressions while he's singing - I can't figure out if he's thinking the same thing as me or just "This is SO cool!" I dunno - do you think something could be TOO spectacular and overwhelm the senses (leaving God as as after thought)?

I loved the music but definitely believe strongly in original music within the church. What's up with bootlegging the opening riff from "Bittersweet Symphony"???

Like I said - I usually hate it when other people post comments like this one!

Way cool, reminds me of a TSO concert. TSO has had a great understanding of mixing all the senses (they even make it snow) during their shows. It's cool to see the church using something that engages every part of who we are. Now, how to do that in the local church?

"I LOVE seeing technology used in big ways in worship settings. I think that music and media are the languages of the people."

Some people play guitar. Some people "play" multimedia screen and lighting rigs. When you are led in worship by a skilled artist it draws you into God's presence regardless of the instrument.
